Today I went to AWS Summit Singapore 2015. As expected, this year the event is getting bigger than before. There were more than 700 participants, supported by more than 20 partners and lots of lucky draw prizes and freebies.
The one-day event was packed with presentation sessions running concurrently at 3 different ballrooms and streamed online by some Asian and Oceania countries. The presentations had various topics, like introduction to AWS free-tier services, AWS mobile services, business continuity, big data & analytics, security, etc. Some sessions were sponsored by partners.
Didn't I mention that the event has a lot of freebies? Here are some of them. Even though I didn't win any lucky draw prize, I was happy to bring home a bag of freebies.
AWS Summit is definitely one event that you can't miss. Hopefully I can attend next year's summit.
