Being woman in the guys dominated IT world can put you into stereotype treatments, which sometimes I feel not fair.
1. Doing the administrative work
Some how it always come to you, even though it's not officially assign to you. Due to our stereotype nature of being meticulous, people will throw any administrative work to you, while you're also doing the technical work, making you to do have more workload.
2. Labeled as not technically competent because you spend mostly the administrative work
People always think administrative work is the easy work and people not necessarily need to be skillful to do it. And because the administrative work spend so much of your time, they allocate the more important technical work to the other guys. As a result, people think you're not competent of doing the technical work.
